A Mashup-based Framework for Business Process Compliance Checking

Business process compliance ensures that the processes of an organisation are designed and executed according to rules govern it. We faced challenge building a management system for process-aware identified several needs that, despite having been in literature, were only partially satisfied by existing approaches. The variability types generally restricts support checking specific rules, concrete phase business lifecycle, or certain information systems (ISs) data retrieval. Motivated this, we conceptual framework relies on use mashups rule specification checking, with following advantages: (i) open-ended set can be specified designing connecting mashup components; (ii) (parts of) definitions reused as needed; (iii) mashup-based integrated ISs organisation, enabling verification actual facts actions performed during execution (e.g., existence document location). Design-time run-time implementations conducted tested real setting.
